Why We Designed This
Use this heart rate monitor to teach students about physical health and fitness. Students can learn how physical activity affects their heart rate. Self-regulation lessons can be tied in by asking students to reflect on how they are feeling before, during and after physical activity. This comfortable wearable heart rate monitor has an adjustable wrist band (similar to a Fitbit) and can be paired to devices and apps via Bluetooth or Ant+. Designed to be used for any type of physical activity such as walking, running, cycling, etc. It can be used on its own or in conjunction with a cadence or speed sensor for cycling depending on the chosen tracking app. Examples of apps that this heart rate monitor can be used with: Zwift, Mightier.
Can also be used by individuals who want to measure and track their fitness.
