Why We Designed This

This bamboo Make-Believe Sink features rotating bamboo faucet handles, a removable stubby tubby for the sink basin, and a magnetic whiteboard and a pegboard panel on the sides to add emergent literacy and imaginative play opportunities. Is it a sink, or a pet wash station? Let little imaginations decide! The sink can be purchased as a standalone item, or as part of our Make-Believe Kitchen Set.

Bamboo is a renewable resource that grows quickly and sequesters carbon, making it a more responsible material choice.

For every bamboo product purchased, Copernicus will make a donation to conserve natural panda habitat through the World Wildlife Fund.

Our finish is a nitrocellulose lacquer. Lacquers are a popular finish type for furniture and the preferred choice of professional furniture makers. Lacquers provide a clear, durable, and water-resistant finish, that protects the base material while also enhancing its appearance.
