Outdoor classrooms are becoming more common as schools increase the use of outdoor spaces. They are built to withstand the elements. Recycled plastic lumber requires no maintenance and is very durable with a long lifecycle because it does not rot (like some woods) or rust (like metal). For added security, add a ground anchor so everything stays put.
Recycled plastic lumber is not only comfortable to sit on because it doesn’t get hot or splinter; it’s a sustainable product too. It is made of a combination of plastics that would have otherwise gone to the landfill such as bottle tops, bottles and plastic bags.
