Why We Designed This

This bamboo Make-Believe Kitchen set includes a sink, stove, and fridge featuring magnetic whiteboards, pegboards, shelving, knobs, and dials to add emergent literacy and imaginative play opportunities. Is it a kitchen set, a loose parts play station, or a space shuttle command center? Let little imaginations decide! The fridge, stove, and sink can also be purchased as standalone items.

Bamboo is a renewable resource that grows quickly and sequesters carbon, making it a more responsible material choice.

For every bamboo product purchased, Copernicus will make a donation to conserve natural panda habitat through the World Wildlife Fund.

Our finish is a nitrocellulose lacquer. Lacquers are a popular finish type for furniture and the preferred choice of professional furniture makers. Lacquers provide a clear, durable, and water-resistant finish, that protects the base material while also enhancing its appearance.
